Mini Pizza Box Tutorial

Hey friends!  Today I have a cute little mini pizza box tutorial to share with you.  These are great for gift giving or craft fairs and the recipient will love it!  I put a mini wax melt in mine but you could also fill it with candy or other trinkets.

Here's how you make it!  Start with a piece of card stock that measures 9 1/2 x 5 1/4.  You will score this on the 9 1/2 side at 1", 4 1/4, 5 1/4 and 8 1/2.  Turn to the  5 1/4 side and score at 1"  and 4 1/4.
Fold and burnish all the score lines using your bone folder to get a good crisp line.

Next you will take your scissors and cut up on all the short score lines along both 9 1/2" sides, mitering the small tabs as shown in the photo.

Apply your adhesive (I use liquid glue) to the short tabs and assemble the box, making sure to line up your edges neatly.  Place your box contents inside and close the box.

Now it's time to decorate!  You will need some pattern paper.  I am using the Have a Holly Jolly Christmas paper from Echo Park.

Cut the pattern paper to 3 x 3 using one pattern, then 3 strips of 3 x 7/8" using another pattern that coordinates with the first piece.  Glue the 3 x 3 piece to the top of the box and the smaller pieces to the sides and front of the box.

Take a small circle punch and punch a half circle to the front of the box making it easier to open.

Add any embellishment or focal Image you want to the top of the box.  Finally tie a ribbon around the top of the box to hold the sides in.

I love how these turned out and made a few of them!

I hope you will give this project a try for yourself and see what you can come up with. They are fun to make!

Happy crafting!
Beth
