Jolly Delivery Card

Today I created a card using the Jolly Delivery stamp set from Stampin' UP!

This card is quick and easy but so adorable!  I used the North Pole Delivery Specialty Designer Series Paper for the background and a couple of the punch out images that come in the paper packs.

Card Recipe:

Base - Garden Green Cardstock, cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

Real Red Mat - 5 1/4 x 4

DSP - 5 x 3 3/4

Inside - Basic White 5 x 3 3/4

Scrap piece of Basic White for punched circle

I added some Real Red ribbon to the front and tied a bow with it.  So sweet!  I then punched the white circle with my 1 3/8 circle punch.  I stamped the sentiment on the circle and adhered the little dog.  I then used dimensionals to pop up the sentiment piece over top of the ribbon.

I finished up with some peppermint adhesive gems for that festive touch.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy Christmas card!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Card

Welcome back everyone!  Today I created some really sweet cards using the Christmas Collection Pack from Carta Bella.  This is a very vintagy collection and perfect for Christmas.

I used a card sketch for today's card which made it so much easier.

For the base I used Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' UP!, cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  For the pattern paper B I cut that to 4 1/4 x 4, for C I cut it to 4 1/4 x 3 1/2.   The focal Image measures 3 x 4.

I finished up the card with some Irridescent Drops scattered over the front.

Love how this turned out!

I loved this design so much I couldn't resist making more!  Here is one I made using the adorable Winnie the Pooh paper from Echo Park!

These paper collections make creating cards so easy and they are addictive too!  Give them a try for yourself and see what you can come up with!

Festive Penguins Happy Christmas Card

Hey everyone!  Welcome back to my blog for some more crafty fun.   Today we are playing with the Festive Penguins stamp set from Gina K. Designs. This stamp set is part of the latest kit from Gina K.  As of right now it's not available for individual purchase but should be soon. There are also coordinating dies.

For my card I started with a card base of Summer Splash cardstock from Stampin' Up.  This base was cut to 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  Next I took two pieces of pattern paper from the Candy Cane Lane 6 x 6 paper pack from Lawn Fawn and cut them in half diagonally.  *If you are using two sided paper you only need one sheet.  I also cut a 1/4" strip of pattern paper from that same pack to use to hide the seam on the card.  *cut this diagonally from the middle of the sheet to ensure a long enough piece.

I mounted the diagonal pieces onto a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of white cardstock then covered the seam with the 1/4 inch piece.  I then adhered this to the front of the card base.

I put a small strip of pattern paper on the bottom of the inside of the card and then stamped some images from the stamp set.

Next I stamped the sentiment for the front of the card and some snowflakes using Summer Splash Ink.  I stamped the Penguin and colored it using my Stampin' Write markers.  I cut these out with the coordinating dies and put them on the front of the card.

I love how this card turned out, it's so festive and fun and would make a great card to send out this holiday season!

I also made another card using this same layout and paper from Carta Bella.

I hope you enjoyed making this card with me and I can't wait till next time!

Happy Crafting!

Snowy Skaters Happy Holidays Card Gina K. Designs

Hello Hello! Sorry it has been a few days since I've crafted with you, life has been very busy lately but I'm back today with a fun Holiday card!

This card was created using Gina K. Designs Snowy Skaters stamp set.  As of this writing the stamp set is sold out but the die is available. Fingers crossed this means they will be restocking the stamp set soon!

For this card I made a base of white cardstock measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4  1/4.  I then cut a mat of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and adhered this to the card front. Next, I cut a mat from Balmy Blue that measured 4 x 5 1/4.  For my white focal panel, I cut the piece to 3 3/4 x 5.

I stamps my images on the white focal Image and colored them with the following markers:

Copics - B01, V22 and the Colorless Blender.

Spectrum Noir Tri Blends - B03

For some sparkle I added some Wink of Stella to a few bits and then used basic Rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes.

I hope you enjoyed this early peek into the holidays using this fabulous stamp set.

Thanks for crafting with me!!

Beth :)
