Stampin' UP! Merry Christmas Card

It's time to make Christmas cards!  Now that Halloween is over I need to switch gears and get busy on my Christmas cards.  I came up with this simple yet pretty design that is so easy to make and quick too!

To begin you need a Real Red cardstock base that measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  Next you need a Garden Green mat that measures 5 1/4 x 4.  Now it's time to bring in the pattern paper!

I chose a pretty plaid design from this DSP pack and cut it to 3 1/2 x 5.  For the focal panel I used a piece of Basic White that measures 2 1/2 x 5 and then matted it with some more Real Red.  I then stamped the Merry Christmas image in Real Red Ink.

For the inside of the card I cut a panel of Basic White to 5 x 3 3/4 and stamped a sentiment.  I also added a strip of the DSP to the bottom of the card.

For a finishing touch I added some embellishments that fit the card perfectly.  I love how it turned out!

This card was so easy to make and went together in no time. It would make a great card to make a lot of to send out to friends and family.

Thank you for stopping by to craft with me!!

Beth :)
