Lawn Fawn Hay There Hayrides Fall Card

It's still Fall y'all!  I know a lot of cardmakers are gearing up for Christmas already but technically it's still Fall so let's make an Autumn themed card!

This card features the super cute Lawn Fawn set, Hay There Hayrides.  I colored the images with my Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

For my cardbase I used Pumpkin Pie from Stampin' UP!, cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  I then used some papers from the Lawn Fawn Falling Leaves 6 x 6 Petite Paper Pack.  I used an orange for the sky and a green for the grass.  The sky piece is cut to 5 1/4 x 4, while the grass is a 1 1/2 strip that I cut out using the Grassy Border Die from Lawn Fawn.

I arranged my scene the way I liked it then it was time for the sentiment.  I cut that out using the smallest die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Nine Dies.

This card turned out so cute and I can't wait to send it someone, I hope it brightens their day!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come visit me again for some more crafty fun!

Mother Goose Fun Fold Z Card

Today I have a fun fold Z card that is quick and easy yet adorable!  I'm using the Storybook Moments  12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper pack from Stampin' UP!  This pack is full of fun story book character inspired die cuts that create adorable cards.  It's available now on the Last Chance Products page on my website so get it while you can!  Shop With Me

For my card I used a card base of Lost Lagoon that measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 and at 2 1/8.  Fold the 4 1/4 bit in half, then fold the other bit back the other way to create the Z fold.

Next I cut some pattern paper to use.  One piece for the inside of the card is cut to 4 x 5 1/4, this is adhered to the right side.  The other piece is cut to 2 x 5 1/4 and is adhered to the left flap.

Then we need a piece of Basic White cut to 2 x 5 1/4.  I stamped a greeting from the So Many Scallops stamp set from Stampin' UP on the top of this piece.  This stamp set is super old and wood mounted, I got it at the thrift shop!  It's still good though and adorable!

Next I glued on some die cut images, added some ribbon and pearls and the card was done!  It's cute and simple and I love it!

I hope you enjoyed making this clean and simple card with me.  We'll see you next time for some more crafting fun!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Card

Welcome back everyone!  Today I created some really sweet cards using the Christmas Collection Pack from Carta Bella.  This is a very vintagy collection and perfect for Christmas.

I used a card sketch for today's card which made it so much easier.

For the base I used Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' UP!, cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  For the pattern paper B I cut that to 4 1/4 x 4, for C I cut it to 4 1/4 x 3 1/2.   The focal Image measures 3 x 4.

I finished up the card with some Irridescent Drops scattered over the front.

Love how this turned out!

I loved this design so much I couldn't resist making more!  Here is one I made using the adorable Winnie the Pooh paper from Echo Park!

These paper collections make creating cards so easy and they are addictive too!  Give them a try for yourself and see what you can come up with!

Mini Pizza Box Tutorial

Hey friends!  Today I have a cute little mini pizza box tutorial to share with you.  These are great for gift giving or craft fairs and the recipient will love it!  I put a mini wax melt in mine but you could also fill it with candy or other trinkets.

Here's how you make it!  Start with a piece of card stock that measures 9 1/2 x 5 1/4.  You will score this on the 9 1/2 side at 1", 4 1/4, 5 1/4 and 8 1/2.  Turn to the  5 1/4 side and score at 1"  and 4 1/4.
Fold and burnish all the score lines using your bone folder to get a good crisp line.

Next you will take your scissors and cut up on all the short score lines along both 9 1/2" sides, mitering the small tabs as shown in the photo.

Apply your adhesive (I use liquid glue) to the short tabs and assemble the box, making sure to line up your edges neatly.  Place your box contents inside and close the box.

Now it's time to decorate!  You will need some pattern paper.  I am using the Have a Holly Jolly Christmas paper from Echo Park.

Cut the pattern paper to 3 x 3 using one pattern, then 3 strips of 3 x 7/8" using another pattern that coordinates with the first piece.  Glue the 3 x 3 piece to the top of the box and the smaller pieces to the sides and front of the box.

Take a small circle punch and punch a half circle to the front of the box making it easier to open.

Add any embellishment or focal Image you want to the top of the box.  Finally tie a ribbon around the top of the box to hold the sides in.

I love how these turned out and made a few of them!

I hope you will give this project a try for yourself and see what you can come up with. They are fun to make!

Happy crafting!

Festive Penguins Happy Christmas Card

Hey everyone!  Welcome back to my blog for some more crafty fun.   Today we are playing with the Festive Penguins stamp set from Gina K. Designs. This stamp set is part of the latest kit from Gina K.  As of right now it's not available for individual purchase but should be soon. There are also coordinating dies.

For my card I started with a card base of Summer Splash cardstock from Stampin' Up.  This base was cut to 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  Next I took two pieces of pattern paper from the Candy Cane Lane 6 x 6 paper pack from Lawn Fawn and cut them in half diagonally.  *If you are using two sided paper you only need one sheet.  I also cut a 1/4" strip of pattern paper from that same pack to use to hide the seam on the card.  *cut this diagonally from the middle of the sheet to ensure a long enough piece.

I mounted the diagonal pieces onto a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of white cardstock then covered the seam with the 1/4 inch piece.  I then adhered this to the front of the card base.

I put a small strip of pattern paper on the bottom of the inside of the card and then stamped some images from the stamp set.

Next I stamped the sentiment for the front of the card and some snowflakes using Summer Splash Ink.  I stamped the Penguin and colored it using my Stampin' Write markers.  I cut these out with the coordinating dies and put them on the front of the card.

I love how this card turned out, it's so festive and fun and would make a great card to send out this holiday season!

I also made another card using this same layout and paper from Carta Bella.

I hope you enjoyed making this card with me and I can't wait till next time!

Happy Crafting!

Snowy Skaters Happy Holidays Card Gina K. Designs

Hello Hello! Sorry it has been a few days since I've crafted with you, life has been very busy lately but I'm back today with a fun Holiday card!

This card was created using Gina K. Designs Snowy Skaters stamp set.  As of this writing the stamp set is sold out but the die is available. Fingers crossed this means they will be restocking the stamp set soon!

For this card I made a base of white cardstock measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4  1/4.  I then cut a mat of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and adhered this to the card front. Next, I cut a mat from Balmy Blue that measured 4 x 5 1/4.  For my white focal panel, I cut the piece to 3 3/4 x 5.

I stamps my images on the white focal Image and colored them with the following markers:

Copics - B01, V22 and the Colorless Blender.

Spectrum Noir Tri Blends - B03

For some sparkle I added some Wink of Stella to a few bits and then used basic Rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes.

I hope you enjoyed this early peek into the holidays using this fabulous stamp set.

Thanks for crafting with me!!

Simon Says Stamp October 2025 Card Kit

I recently received the October 2025 Simon Says Stamp card kit and made a card with the contents.  I have to be honest when I say I wasn't sure what to do with this kit when I first received it.  It just really is not my style with the Tim Holtz "grunge".

I am not sure how much longer I will continue to get the SSS kits.  I like some of them but more often than not they contain stuff I just wouldn't use, especially the Tim Holtz stuff.  I understand they have a partnership with him but it just seems the kits are centered around his style of crafting (grunge) more often than not.  I am more of a girly girl stamper, I like flowers and cute whimsical things.  Plus the kits can be pricey at $50 a month.  I will keep you posted on my future with these kits.

Hope you have a great day!

Yesterday I received a super sweet box of goodies in the mail from Gina K. You really do get a lot of products for your money and it's all my style so I feel confident in my purchases.  As of this writing the kit is still in stock but don't wait too long as I don't think it will be around for much longer.

Sunflower Summer From Carta Bella Plus Three Cards

I'm having the best time playing with the Sunflower Summer kit from Carta Bella (available through Echo Park), and I just had to share it with you!

This delightful little collection is packed with gorgeous pattern papers and charming stickers that practically beg to be turned into something beautiful. And here's the cherry on top—right now, you can snag it at Echo Park for just $5. Yes, really!

I couldn't resist creating three cards with this kit, and honestly, I'm in love with each one. What I adore most is how effortlessly they came together while still delivering that "wow" factor we all crave in our projects.

If you've been wanting to make stunning cards without pulling out your stamps and dies, these paper packs are about to become your new best friend. The process is wonderfully simple: cut your pieces, layer them together with adhesive, and voilĂ —you've got yourself a showstopper of a card!

I really hope you'll pop over to Echo Park and treat yourself to a kit or two. Trust me, your crafty heart will thank you, and you'll have an absolute blast bringing these designs to life.

Now, go create something wonderful!

Happy crafting,
Beth
