Pumpkin Patch Card Hello Bluebird

It's Time for a Fall Card!

Happy fall, crafty friends! I'm so excited to share this adorable autumn card with you today, featuring the sweet Pumpkin Patch stamp set from Hello Bluebird. While this set has retired (sad face!), you might still find it floating around online, or perhaps it's already tucked away in your craft stash. And if not? No worries at all—just grab your favorite fall-themed stamps and follow along. This technique works beautifully with any images you love!

Let's Talk Supplies

For my card base, I used Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". It gives such a lovely, neutral foundation for all those vibrant fall colors! My background piece is Basic White, measuring 5" x 4 1/4", with an inside panel that's 3 3/4" x 5".

The fun really started when I pulled out the On the Farm 6x6 paper pad. I cut a frame from one of those gorgeous patterned papers, plus a coordinating thin strip for the inside. For extra dimension (because who doesn't love a little dimension?), I also cut two frames from heavyweight white cardstock and stacked them together.

Bringing It to Life

I ink blended the background using Distress Oxide Inks to create that soft, dreamy autumn sky effect. Then came the coloring—I used my beloved Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers to bring those sweet pumpkin images to life. (Confession: I completely forgot to write down the colors I used—oops! But that just means you get to have fun experimenting with your own favorites!)

The finished card turned out SO dang cute that I can't stop staring at it. There's something about fall cards that just makes my heart happy!

Thanks for Crafting With Me!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this inspires you to create something beautiful this fall season. If you make your own version, I'd absolutely love to see it!

Happy crafting!

 Hey everyone!

I'm so excited to share the September 2025 Project Kit from Echo Park, featuring some gorgeous Carta Bella products. This kit is a crafter's dream, packed with everything you need to create scrapbooks, journals, cards, tags, and so much more. A Little Autumn Inspiration

I couldn't wait to dive into this kit and create a fun, autumn-themed card. I started with a Very Vanilla card base from Stampin' Up!, measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".

I layered two pieces of the beautiful patterned paper from the kit—one at 4" x 5 1/2" and the other at 2" x 5 1/2". Next, I added a cute little tag and an adorable chipboard sticker, both from the kit. To give it that perfect finishing touch, I used some of the enamel dots.

This card was so simple to put together, but it has a huge impact. I'm already dreaming up my next project with this kit!

On the Farm Cards Carta Bella

Farm Fresh Fun: Creating Charming Cards with Carta Bella's "On the Farm" Collection

There's nothing quite like the joy of discovering a delightful surprise in your crafting order! When my package from Echo Park arrived with Carta Bella's "On the Farm" 6 x 6 paper pad tucked inside as a free gift, I couldn't help but smile. Sometimes the best treasures are the ones we weren't expecting!

This adorable collection is absolutely bursting with charm – from sweet barnyard animals to vintage tractors and cozy farmhouse patterns. The moment I flipped through those beautifully designed papers, I knew I had to dive right in and start creating. There's something so heartwarming about farm-themed designs that just makes you want to craft all day long!

I ended up making two cards that captured all the rustic sweetness of country living, and I'm excited to share the recipes with you so you can create your own farmyard magic.

Card #1: Country Charm

  • Base: Basic White cardstock (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")
  • Beige Mat: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Focal Image: 3" x 4"
  • Narrow strips: 3/8" x 6"
  • Tractor strip: 7/8" x 6"
  • Plaid strip: 2" x 6"

Card #2: Farmhouse Sweet

  • Base: Basic White cardstock (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4")
  • Focal Mat: 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (feel free to trim this down as needed – trust your eye!)
  • Focal Image: 3" x 3"
  • Green Plaid: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • Punched Piece: 1 1/2" x 6"
  • Ribbon or narrow paper strip to span the card width

Crafting tip: If you're using ribbon, layer your green plaid and punched piece first, then add the ribbon to conceal any seams before adhering everything to your card base. It creates such a polished, professional look!

Both cards turned out absolutely precious – there's something so satisfying about watching these farm-fresh designs come together! I'm already dreaming up ways to use the rest of this wonderful paper pad. Maybe some gift tags for homemade jam? Or perhaps a mini album showcasing our local farmers market adventures?

The beauty of a collection like this is that it sparks so much creativity and brings back those cozy, simple pleasures of country life – even if you're crafting from the heart of the city!

I hope these card ideas inspire you to create something special too. There's always room for more handmade love in this world, don't you think?

Happy crafting, friends! Beth

Gina K. Designs Friendly Pastures Card

Those Big-Headed Beauties Stole My Heart! 💕

Y'all, when I first laid eyes on the Friendly Pastures stamp and die set from Gina K. Designs, I literally squealed! Those adorable, oversized cow heads had me completely smitten from hello. I mean, how could I possibly resist those sweet faces? Spoiler alert: I couldn't, and it went straight into my cart faster than you can say "moo!"

Let's Chat Card Details! ✨

Here's what I used to bring these cuties to life:

  • Card Base: Crumb Cake cardstock (8½" × 5½") scored at 4¼"
  • Background Panel: Basic White (5¼" × 5")
  • Inside Panel: 5" × 3¾"

Creating the Magic 🎨

The fun really began when I started building that dreamy pastoral scene! I grabbed my trusty Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans and Shabby Shutters to create the perfect backdrop—think rolling green meadows meeting a soft, cloudy sky. There's something so therapeutic about blending those colors together, isn't there?

Next came my favorite part: bringing those precious cows to life with alcohol markers! I carefully colored each image (colors listed below).  Then I used those gorgeous coordinating dies to cut everything out perfectly.

Marker Colors Used:

Cow #1 - Copics E79, E 74, E70.  Stampin' Blends Dark Basic Black, Light Petal Pink, Light Gray Granite

Cow #2 - Copics E18, E15, E70, V22. Stampin' Blends Dark Basic Black, Light Petal Pink, Light Gray Granite

Sunflowers - Copics E74, Y18, G46

Fences - Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends

The Finishing Touches That Make It Shine ✨

You know me—I can never leave well enough alone! I created a crisp white embossed sentiment that really pops against all those soft colors. Then came the fun of arranging my little farm friends into their perfect poses.

But wait, there's more! Those sunny little flowers got a kiss of Wink of Stella because who doesn't love a bit of sparkle? And those Pretty Pink Posh clear iridescent drops added just the right amount of dewdrop magic to complete the scene.

Oh, and here's my little confession: I totally forgot to film myself adding the white gel pen faux stitching around the card base! Sometimes I get so caught up in the creative flow that the camera becomes an afterthought. Can you relate?

The Final Verdict 💖

This card makes my crafty heart absolutely sing! Those big, beautiful cow heads are pure joy on paper, and the whole scene just radiates happiness. It's the kind of card that makes you smile before you even read the sentiment inside.

What do you think? Are you as smitten with big-headed farm friends as I am? I'd love to hear about your latest crafty crushes in the comments below!

Happy crafting, my creative friends!
Beth 💕

Simon Says Stamp September 2025 Card Kit Balloon Birthday Card

Celebrating with Simon Says Stamp's September 2025 Kit - Double the Balloon Fun!

Hello, crafty friends!

I'm absolutely bubbling with excitement to share today's project with you! I just got my hands on the September 2025 Simon Says Stamp card kit, and let me tell you - it's pure creative magic in a box. For about $50 a month (including shipping and tax), this monthly subscription delivers such delightful surprises that I find myself eagerly counting down the days until each delivery arrives.

This month's kit had me completely smitten with its cheerful balloon theme, and I was having so much fun that I couldn't stop at just one card - I made two adorable birthday greetings that are practically twins!

Here's how these little beauties came together:

I started with a gorgeous Peach Pie cardstock base (8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼") that gives such a warm, welcoming feel. The patterned paper (5¼" x 4") from the kit was absolutely perfect - those colors just sing together! I layered on a lovely lavender embossed piece (5" x 3¾") that adds such beautiful texture and dimension.

For the inside, I kept things clean and bright with Basic White cardstock (5" x 3¾"), giving plenty of space for heartfelt birthday wishes.

The finishing touches really make these cards special - I reached into my trusty twine stash to tie those sweet balloons together (there's something so satisfying about that little detail!), and couldn't resist adding some magical Wink of Stella for that perfect touch of sparkle. Because honestly, what birthday card doesn't need a little extra shimmer?

What I absolutely love about this kit is how effortlessly everything comes together. Even if you're new to cardmaking, these designs are wonderfully approachable, yet they look so professionally polished when finished.

While this particular kit has sold out (they're just that popular!), you can still snag all the individual components from Simon's website if these balloons have captured your heart like they did mine.

I hope these cheerful creations inspire you to try your hand at this delightful hobby - or maybe even treat yourself to next month's kit subscription. Trust me, that monthly surprise never gets old!

What's your favorite birthday card style? I'd love to hear about your latest crafty adventures in the comments!

Happy crafting, dear friends!

💕 Beth

P.S. - Don't you just love when a project turns out so well that you can't help but make multiples? These balloon cards definitely fall into that category!

Day Three of My Five Days of Halloween Series Happy Haunting Card

Welcome Back to My Five Days of Halloween Magic! 🎃

Hello, my crafty friends! I'm absolutely thrilled you're joining me for day three of our Halloween adventure together! If you happened to miss the spooky goodness from days one and two, I'd love for you to peek back at those posts – they're packed with frightfully fun inspiration that I think you'll adore!

Today, I'm sharing something extra special that has my crafty heart doing little happy dances! This card showcases the absolutely charming (but deliciously spooky) Happy Haunting stamp set from Lawn Fawn. While this little treasure is retired now, don't you just love how these vintage finds can create the most magical projects? Every image in this set strikes that perfect balance between adorable and eerie – exactly what makes Halloween crafting so wonderfully fun!

Let's Create This Together:

I started with a gorgeous foundation using Gorgeous Grape cardstock (8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼") – doesn't that rich, deep purple just whisper "autumn evening" to you?

For our dreamy background, I layered Basic White (3⅝" x 4⅞") onto an Old Olive mat (3⅞" x 5⅛"). Then comes my favorite part – the magical ink blending! I swept Gorgeous Grape, Misty Moonlight, and Old Olive inks across that white background, creating the most enchanting twilight sky that makes my heart sing every time I look at it.

Bringing Our Spooky Friends to Life:

The little haunted house got the royal treatment with my beloved Stampin' Blends – I used Dark and Light Smoky Slate for those weathered walls, Dark Pebbled Path for shadowy details, and a pop of Cherry Cobbler for that perfect Halloween accent.

Our sweet little ghosts? They came alive with gentle touches of Light Smoky Slate and the magic of my Colorless Blender – they look like they're floating right off the page!

And because every Halloween card deserves a little sparkle (don't you think?), I scattered some gorgeous Pink Fresh Studios amethyst gems across the design. They catch the light like tiny stars in our spooky night sky!

I'm completely smitten with how this turned out! Those classic Halloween colors paired with these endearing images create something that feels both nostalgic and fresh. There's something so satisfying about working with that traditional palette – it just feels like Halloween magic in cardstock form!

I truly hope this little creation brought a smile to your face and maybe sparked some inspiration for your own Halloween crafting adventures! Your creativity means the world to me, and I love being part of this amazing crafting community with all of you.

Don't forget to swing by tomorrow – I have something absolutely delightful brewing for day four that I cannot wait to share with you!

Until then, keep creating magic!

With love and crafty hugs,
Beth

Day Two of My Five Days of Halloween Card Series

Day Two of My Five Days of Halloween Magic!

Hello, my crafty friends!

I'm absolutely thrilled to share day two of my Five Days of Halloween Card Series with you! Today's creation has completely stolen my heart – it's a delightfully spooky-cute ghost floating on the most gorgeous pink glitter spider web. Yes, you heard that right – PINK glitter! Because who says Halloween can't be fabulously feminine? I'm embracing all the girlie vibes and loving every sparkly second of it!

I had such a wonderful time working with more amazing products from Scrapbook.com on this project. There's something so satisfying about watching a card come together with quality materials that just make everything shine (literally, in this case!).

Here's everything I used to create this little beauty:

The Foundation:

  • Basic White cardstock (5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4) – our trusty card base
  • Pink Glitter Paper (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) transformed with that stunning Spiderweb Die

The Layers:

  • Two pieces of gorgeous pattern paper (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) – one cut with the largest Nested Stitched die
  • Heavy Weight White Cardstock (two 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 pieces) also cut with those beautiful Nested Stitched Dies

The Sweet Details:

  • Basic White scraps for our adorable ghost
  • Glitter scraps for the pumpkin, sentiment outline, and little flower accents
  • Black cardstock for those expressive ghost eyes and pumpkin features
  • Granny Apple Green for the perfect autumn leaves

The Finishing Touches:

  • Inside panel: Pattern paper (3 3/4 x 5) with Basic White overlay (3 1/2 x 4 3/4)
  • Stampin' Blends in Light Smoky Slate, Light Petal Pink, and Colorless Blender for those soft, dreamy details

I absolutely love how this card captures that perfect balance of spooky and sweet – it's Halloween with a glamorous twist! The pink glitter web catches the light so beautifully, and our little ghost friend looks ready for the most stylish haunting ever.

I hope this card has inspired you to add a little sparkle to your own Halloween crafting! There's something so joyful about creating cards that make people smile, and I have a feeling this one will do exactly that.

Let's Go Ghouls Five Days of Halloween Series Day One

Day One of My Five Days of Halloween Magic is Here! 🎃

Hello, my crafty friends! I can barely contain my excitement as I kick off what might be my favorite series of the year - Five Days of Halloween Cards! I'm sure you've been eagerly waiting for spooky season to arrive, and today we're diving in headfirst with the most adorable little ghosties you've ever seen.

Meet Today's Stars: The Sweet Boo Bundle

I'm absolutely smitten with the Sweet Boo Bundle from Scrapbook.com - and let me tell you why this bundle has stolen my heart! With stamps, dies, and coordinating papers all in one perfect package, it's like they read my crafty mind. But here's the twist that made me giggle with delight: instead of going full-on spooky, I decided these little ghost girls needed a feminine, party-ready makeover!

The Magic Behind the Card

Picture this: ghostie girls who are ready to paint the town pink! Here's how I brought this vision to life:

The Foundation:

  • Base: Petal Pink cardstock (8½" x 5½", scored at 4¼")
  • Two gorgeous pattern papers at 5½" x 4¼" - one playful plaid, one solid beauty
  • Inside piece: 3¾" x 5" (because the inside deserves love too!)

The Show-Stopping Frame: I reached for my beloved Nested Stitched Stamps Dies from Scrapbook.com and cut not one, not two, but THREE layers! Trust me on this - that extra dimension makes all the difference and gives your card that professional, "wow, did you really make this?" look.

Bringing the Characters to Life: Here's where the real fun happened with my Stampin' Blend markers:

  • The Bat: Dark Gray Granite with touches of Light Petal Pink (because even bats can be pretty!)
  • The Ghosts: Light Smoky Slate as the base, then I used my Blender Pen to create those perfect soft shadows, finishing with Light Petal Pink for their sweet, rosy cheeks

The Final Sparkle: No Beth card is complete without a little magic, so I added Wink of Stella to both the ghosts and bat - because who doesn't love a little shimmer? Those clear iridescent gems from Pretty Pink Posh were the perfect finishing touch, like little dewdrops of sparkle!

Why I'm Head-Over-Heels for This Card

What makes my heart sing about this creation is how it proves that Halloween doesn't always have to be dark and spooky. Sometimes our ghostie friends just want to get glammed up and have a party! The soft pink tones mixed with traditional Halloween elements create something that feels both festive and fresh.

I'm practically bouncing in my craft chair thinking about what we'll create together tomorrow! This is just day one, friends, and I have four more days of Halloween magic planned that I simply cannot wait to share with you.

Your Turn to Share!

I'd love to know - are you team spooky or team sweet when it comes to Halloween crafting? Drop a comment and let me know which direction your creative heart pulls you!

See you back here tomorrow for day two of our Halloween adventure!

Crafting with love and a little bit of magic,
Beth ✨

Merci Card from MFT Plus a mini Haul!

A Little Paris Magic: Revisiting an Old Favorite

Hello, my crafty friends!

There's something so delightful about rediscovering a beloved stamp set tucked away in your craft room, isn't there? Today I'm sharing a card that brought back wonderful memories – I'm revisiting the charming retired MFT "Merci" stamp and die set. This Parisian-themed collection has always held a special place in my heart, and I couldn't resist CASEing (Copy and Share Everything) one of my own designs from years past. Sometimes the best inspiration comes from our own creative journey!

The Details That Make It Special:

I kept the design clean and classic with these measurements:

  • Card Base: Basic White (5½" × 8½"), scored at 4¼"
  • Designer Paper: 5¼" × 4" for that perfect backdrop
  • Inside Panel: 3¾" × 5"
  • Lemon Lolly Layer: 3⅞" × 5⅛"
  • Focal Image: Cut just a whisper smaller than the Lemon Lolly for a subtle layered effect

Bringing Her to Life with Color:

The joy of Copic coloring never gets old! Here's how I brought this sweet Parisian lady to life:

  • Skin tones: E000, E00, E11, E93 for that perfect peachy glow
  • Hair: E00, E79, E74 for rich, dimensional brunette locks
  • Scarf: Y00, Y13, Y18 – because every Parisian needs a sunny yellow accent!
  • Dress, purse & shoes: RV63 in coordinating elegance
  • Lamppost light: Y13 for a warm, inviting glow
  • Grass: G43 to ground our scene

The Magic Finishing Touches:

No card feels complete without a little sparkle, right? I added some enchanting shimmer with Clear Iridescent Drops from Pretty Pink Posh and a touch of Wink of Stella. There's something about that gentle sparkle that makes everything feel more special – like catching the light on a Paris street at golden hour.

A Little Halloween Treat for You!

Before I go, I'm so excited to share a fantastic find from Scrapbook.com! I stumbled upon this adorable Halloween bundle featuring the most charming patterned papers, stamps, and dies that will make your spooky season cards absolutely spectacular. The best part? This bundle is currently available for half the regular price! I know how quickly these amazing deals disappear, so if it catches your eye, don't wait too long.

Until Next Time...

Thank you for taking this little creative journey with me today. There's something so heartwarming about sharing these crafty moments with friends who understand the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands. Whether you're revisiting old favorites or trying something completely new, remember that every project is a chance to spread a little more beauty in the world.

Quality Cardstock For Less!

I've been using Stampin' UP! cardstock for years now and I really liked it.  The array of colors is amazing and the paper is a good weight for cardmaking, plus it matches the ink pads.  But the price has been going up and that's something that just doesn't sit well with me.  Twenty four sheets of SU cardstock will cost you $14.00.  I'm sorry but that's too rich for my blood.

Night of Navy, SU, $14.00 for 24 sheets

So I conducted a search to find a compatible product for less money. And I found it.  Papertrey Ink!  This company has a nice collection of cardstock at 110 lb weight which is amazing for cardmaking.  The best part?  24 sheets will cost you $7!!  Yes that's HALF what it will cost you at SU!  And the best part is that many of the colors are very close to what SU offers which means it will still match the ink if you have the SU ink pads like I do.

Enchanted Evening, Papertrey Ink 24 sheets $7

Check out Papertrey Ink today, they have many other products as well as cardstock.  I know I'll be doing some shopping real soon!
